When Do Event Tickets Actually Sell? Here's What the Data Says

Welcome to our study of when event tickets actually sell, part of our Industry Trends series. Every organiser has a theory about when tickets sell: a big launch, a slow middle, a rush on the night. We wanted to see which ones hold up, so we went into our own platform data and followed real ticket sales for single events from the first ticket to the last. We looked at 77 single-event sales from 46 independent UK organisers between 2022 and 2025. In this report we cover how long a typical event is on sale, how much is still unsold three weeks out, how much the final week and final days matter, how price and event size change the pattern, and which day sales usually wrap up.
